Dear colleagues,
The International Turkish Spine Congress, which we traditionally hold every two years, could not be held in 2021 due to the pandemic and we held this congress in 2022. You all remember that we had a very satisfying congress after the pandemic. In order to catch the old rhythm in the congress calendar, we decided to hold the 2023 congress on time. The ease of transportation in İzmir and the richness of the social opportunities in the surrounding area are always considered as an attractive factor for the participants. For this reason, we will hold this meeting again in Izmir and at the same hotel.
The main topic of the congress will be “Deformity in the Spine”. Our main goal is to consider spinal deformity from every angle and present it to the participants with a multidisciplinary perspective. We are confident that we will offer a satisfying education, especially in pediatric deformity, thanks to the academic contributions of the leading names in our country and in the world. In addition, the program will include a half-day symposium with the contributions of the SRS (Scoliosis Research Society). Current information on 'Early Onset Scoliosis' will be discussed in detail at the symposium.
You will also find many interactive sessions and social programs at the XV. International Turkish Spine Congress. We invite you all to this scientific activity, which we believe you will enjoy. Hope to meet again in another beautiful İzmir in May.

Writing Rules
The submission of abstracts can only be accepted via the online abstract system.
Authors name shouldn’t include any academical title.
The name should be written with first letter in capital
Ex: Mehmet Küçük
Name and address of the institution in which the author is employed, should be stated.
Ex: Xxxx University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Xxxx, Istanbul, Turkey
The name of an abstract title should be written with just first letter in capital. (abbreviations are excluded.)
Ex: Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxx xxxxx xxxxxx
If the abbreviation is used in the abstract, the explicit name of the abbreviation should be specified in parentheses.
The purpose of the study and the methods used in the abstract should be briefly stated, the findings should be summarized with sufficient numerical detail and the results should be explained within the framework of the presented findings.
Abstract should be written using objectives, methods, findings and conclusions.
The entire abstract should not exceed 400 words, excluding the title name, author's name, surname.
The abstract, which does not comply with any of these articles, will be excluded from the evaluation, regardless of its contents.

Abstract Evaluation
The evaluation will be made by the Scientific Evaluation Committee as blind review by keeping the names/surnames and institutions of the researchers secret over the internet. At least one of the researchers must complete the congress registration process for the papers to be presented at the congress and published in the abstract book. The Scientific Committee has the right to change and decide on papers as oral or poster presentations. The result of the evaluation will be sent to all the owners of the presentation as a final letter and we strongly state that the presentation holders should pay attention to the final decision on how their presentation sits.

Congress Dates and Venue:
XV. International Turkish Spine congress, will be held 24-27 May 2023 at Wyndham Grand Izmir Hotel.
Congress Language:
The offical language is both Turkish and English.
Registration & Help Desk:
Registration and Help Desk will be open during the congress dates between 08.00 – 20.00.
Invitation Letter:
Official invitation letter can be sent on demand to help to have an acceptance from their institution or company. This letter does not ensure any financial support.
Name Badges:
All participants must have and wear their name badges during the congress to enter scientific sessions, exhibition areas, poster areas and other social networking activities to provide security and order.
Certificate of Participation:
Certificate of participation will be distributed on the last day of the congress.
Abstract Submission:
Abstracts should be submitted through Abstract Agent (http://spinecongress2023.com/), Online Abstract Module. The accepted abstracts will be printed exactly as submitted so please do check carefully before submitting.
Posters:
As a result of the evaluation, the clinical trials accepted as posters will be uploaded to the system in the form of e-posters and demonstrated by the participants during the Congress.
Exhibition Area:
The pharmaceutical companies and medical equipment companies will be able to exhibit their products at the exhibition area located in the congress venue. The exhibition will be open during whole congress.
Presentation Deliver & Speaker Ready Room:
Please bring your presentations in a flash drive at the latest 2 hours before your lecture. You can give your presentations to the Speaker Ready Room. You can find all technical instruments in the scientific halls. Please let us know before a day if you would like to present your lecture with your own computer/laptop.
